Ultrasound in Plantar Fasciitis
Plantar fasciitis is the most common cause of heel pain presenting to the emergency department. Plantar fasciitis occurs when the strong band of tissue that supports the arch of your foot becomes irritated and inflamed.
In cpc this age of ultrasound we can now make this diagnosis easily and with greater certainty. A special thanks to Dr.Paul Jhun. These images are taken from his presentation at the 2013 Essentials of Emergency Medicine course this year.
