On Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM (EST), a live, online learning session will be held titled, “Creating School Wide System Change to Reduce Disparities In Discipline.”
NCBI has partnered with a school district in California mandated to increase equity in discipline for the past five years. NCBI partnered with the district to implement a systemic, comprehensive initiative working with school board members, administrators, teachers, parents, students, and staff. Principles and skills were taught to contribute boston to changing school climate and reducing racial disparities in discipline. In this webinar, NCBI will describe best practices and skill sets to successfully reduce disparities.
How to build a system wide school climate to welcome diversity and inclusion How to implement boston a set of cultural competency skills for teachers and administrators who administer discipline How to bring programs like NCBI into School Districts to effectively reduce disparities How to engage students and parents in every step of diversity and inclusion work REGISTER
This live, online presentation is being held using the Blackboard Collaborate platform. In order to participate, you must have the Blackboard Collaborate Java application downloaded to your personal computer. There is no cost to download the software.
