According Harshatzi, even though the law contains useful sections, such as denial of access for pedophilia, the use made of it is too wide, up to disqualification access to entire social networks for suspected illegal activity. He also said that Turkish law Harshatzi not yet sufficiently protects freedom of speech and freedom of religion.
The review of the OSCE was held as part of the alignments towards the candidacy of Turkey, accession to the EU.
