NSI Aboriginal Documentary is a development launch pad for producer/director teams looking to produce a short documentary. Teams are paired with an industry mentor to help with the final development alo and production of a 10-minute documentary.
The producer/director teams receive cash and in-kind services valuing up to $16,000 for the production of their documentary and attend the Hot Docs Film Festival in Toronto. For the 2012-14 year of the program, their films are broadcast on MTS Stories alo from Home and on APTN and aptn.ca .
