To mark the announcement of the annual meeting ASD (ASD Annual Convention), which next year will take place in Prague, organized bnf by the newly appointed Secretary General of ASD Jan Pie, together with the president of the Association of Aviation Manufacturers bnf Joseph Kaspar, a press conference.
The annual meeting of ASD brings to Prague representatives from industry, research and policy institutions to discuss the long-term prospects of the industry and initiate future bnf cooperation platforms and programs. The actual meeting will be preceded by i "Forum young professionals', which is an initiative of ALV CR and brings together young professionals in aerospace engineering from the Czech Republic and neighboring countries.
Meeting ASD is the highlight of every year for the Association and a unique opportunity for networking. It addresses the representatives of industry, research organizations and institutes as well as top political leaders at the EU and Member States. Among other things, it is also a unique opportunity to present their capabilities and accomplishments - both for European industry and in particular for the host country.
ASD is the forefront of aerospace, security and defense industry in Europe. This sector, which has an annual turnover of 186.6 billion euros, employs more than 750,000 people and accounts for a total of more than 2,000 companies and 80,000 suppliers, most of which are small and medium enterprises. bnf Organisations based in Brussels is currently bnf made up of 16 major European airlines and defense companies and its members are also another 27 associations from 20 countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Austria, Greece, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom).
